I'm proud to serve our community, and to further unite it in welcoming those who wish to join us in making it a wonderful place to live. And what makes CP wonderful? Well, I know it is the support of our city's residents to make our corner of the Free State an outstanding example of neighborliness. Like the “Old Line" did then, today's Marylanders, while crabby at times, come out of their “shells” to always stand together and help in a “pinch.” After all, to be a good citizen is to be good neighbor. And being a good neighbor is the best way we can show we are true patriots.

Now, about me: I am a fan of the arts, and writing - mostly poetry, but I have been trying my hand at prose recently. I have published an epic narrative in verse titled, “Saint George & the Dragon: The Definitive Account” in addition to other volumes of rhymes in different genres. These include the “Freedom Rhymes With” as well as the “KOMANDA” series. Both were undertaken with the aim to educate current and future generations of the core values all free born sons and daughters around the world aspire to live under, in dignity. And I consider these values worth fighting for with the pen to make the empire of the future be (w)one that doesn't require the use of the sword. Instead, if I had my way, I'd just as soon beat the sword to make it into a plough. Now, that brings me to my passion: farming.

Now, since CP is a city, I can't rightly have livestock and fields of waving grain. Nope, just a backyard and some pets. Nonetheless, I do enjoy homesteading (gardening) and the martial arts, chess and long hikes. I also read voraciously and get my kicks out of traveling because, IMHO, since the world made itself available for exploring, I, for one, don't want to miss out on all the fun of getting more familiar with what I can learn of what's new while in the process of discovery.
